Meet Justin
Justin Hocanson is the Owner and General Contractor of Hocanson Construction, bringing more than 25 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry. He specializes in home remodels, framing, accessibility solutions, custom construction projects, and transforming homes with craftsmanship that stands the test of time.
Over the past 25 years, Justin has successfully completed projects ranging from bathroom and kitchen remodels to structural framing, accessibility modifications, custom construction, and complex residential renovations. This diverse experience allows him to approach each project with practical knowledge, creative problem-solving, and a commitment to doing things right the first time.
What sets Hocanson Construction apart is a commitment to communication, quality, integrity, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Justin believes exceptional projects are built through relationships, trust, and an unwavering focus on the client’s vision.
Quality requires focus, which is why Hocanson Construction intentionally limits its workload to just five active projects at a time. This allows Justin and his team to be present, responsive, and closely involved with every detail—from coordinating with vendors and subcontractors to maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service.
The team genuinely loves what they do. Hocanson Construction’s mission is to raise the standard of the industry by setting the bar higher than the competition—not to be the biggest, but to be the best. Proudly serving homeowners throughout East County and coastal communities up to Encinitas, Hocanson Construction is dedicated to delivering exceptional craftsmanship, honest communication, and an experience that exceeds expectations.
